The “Savvy Saver” Website (frugalgirl.blogspot.com) has a great article about bi-weekly mortgage payments, and a link to a Java-based calculator that shows you possible savings by paying 1/2 of your normal monthly payment every two weeks, as opposed to just making payments once per month.
Having just purchased a property ourselves (which I will discuss in depth soon), I found her article to be very informative and a great read. If you ever want to be a “savvy saver”, I think you can learn a lot by reading what she has to say.
