Whenever a billionaire recommends a book, you should read it. And if you call yourself an investor yet don’t own a copy of Benjamin Graham’s “The Intelligent Investor” – you must get yourself a copy. Now.
In the preface of the 2003 edition, Warren Buffett wrote, “I read the first edition of this book in 1950, when I was nineteen. I thought then that it was by far the best book about investing ever written. I still think it is.”
That sounds like a billionaire book recommendation if I’ve ever seen one.
If you don’t yet own the book, you can download the preface by Warren Buffett, the introduction, the index, and the first three chapters. They are available for free from JasonZweig.com.
