Many years ago, my mother read something on a tea bag that still rings true. It said, “Life is what happens when you’re planning other things.” I thought the whole thing was silly, and poked fun at her on more than one occasion. But the tea bag has prevailed once again.
It doesn’t matter whether you have three billion or three hundred dollars in the bank: Life is a series of challenges. Some of the challenges you face turn out well. Some don’t. What separates the winners from the losers, I’ve learned– in business and any other aspect of life– is how a person reacts to each twist of fate.
–Donald Trump, in “Surviving At The Top”
It is difficult to change plans. And although we each face obstacles every day, the key thing to remember is that we must overcome them - one at a time.
A good friend once told me that life is like a big wave - it is full of ups and downs. When you are on top, you need to enjoy it. Because, eventually, things will come tumbling down. That is just part of life, and, unfortunately, I am at the point where I just need to accept it and keep moving forward.
Whenever you are down, it is essential to realize that the feeling is just temporary. Each day is a new beginning, and every day above ground is a great day.
Make the best out of any situation, because each scenario is an opportunity to learn and grow. As disappointed as you may be - it is essentially that you still see the light at the end of the tunnel. You will reach it soon.

I used to think that once a certain “trial” was over, things would go smoothly from then on. When something would come up, once again, I’d feel like something was wrong, because things weren’t going smoothly. However, life isn’t like that. It’s like your friend said about life being like the waves. I’ve also come to realize that “life is messy”, not the clean, orderly, predictable, controllable thing we would like it to be…..but that’s OK, it’s just the way it is. We aren’t ultimately the one in control of EVERYTHING, anyway.

Word ‘Life’ holds different meaning depending how, where, and what you do. You learn to balance, simplify and eliminate desire to own unncessary emotions and material - next thing you know, you discover peace.

Life is what happens when we aren’t looking.
Just gotta get used to the suprises, I guess. Sometimes we hate it, sometimes we love it.
Just have to cherish it because a day we don’t enjoy is a day wasted
