CNN reports statistical data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. From mid-2003 to mid-2005, some counties had moderate wage growth of about 3%, whereas others had losses of up to 4%. Overall, the average American’s inflation-adjusted wages were nearly flat.
