I discovered the hypothetical portfolios of John Dorfman some time ago. It started a few years ago. I was reading a Bloomberg issue that I got for free in the Newark Airport (thanks for that, by the way), and something stuck out in my head: this guy kept talking about a “stock picking robot” that he used for his clients. They paid him, and he just plugged and chugged and picked the stocks!
I participated in my first-ever investor conference call yesterday. It was one of the most interesting and exciting experiences I have had so far this year.
